Med/Surg nurses provide comprehensive care for patients who have had an acute illness, surgery, injury, or exacerbation of a disease. Medical Surgical RNs also provide treatment of active complex conditions or for administration of technically complex treatments. Qualified candidates seeking medical surgical nurse jobs take care of patients in a wide variety of conditions including basic health care, as well as some surgery recuperation patients and those hospitalized for acute conditions.
