SALARY RANGE: Pay is based upon education and experience and is set by the Physician Professional Standards Board. Three components of pay are base, market and performance pay. Current pay range is $96,539 to $195,000.TOUR OF DUTY: Prim! arily will work 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday with shared on-call.RECRUITMENT/RELOCATION BONUS may be offered/negotiable.MOVING EXPENSES may be offered/negotiable.DUTIES: Clinical: 95%
- Leader of the multidisciplinary team on inpatient acute psychiatry, SNU, Residential or Domiciliary.⢠Compensation and Pension examinations.⢠Participation in psychiatric on call rotation.⢠Other clinical duties as assigned.
1. Assists the program director or coordinator in the design, development, and implementation of clinical programs for a team oftreatment providers.2. Assist the program director or coordinator in the execution of ongoing program evaluation and data-driven quality improvement projects to monitor the effectiveness of the clinical program.3. Facilitates liaisons with other health care programs in order to effectively coordinate serVIces.4. Complies with national and local performance measures, including! timeliness health care screening and completion of clinical reminders ! for all patients.5. Complies with all CPRS documentation procedures, including timeliness standards for documentation and proper patient check out procedures (e.g., entering diagnostic and procedure codes).6. Attends and participates in administrative and informational meetings held by the Service Line Director (or designee) and facility Director.7. Attends regular Mental Health Staff meetings, Medical Staff meetings, and complies with Mental Health peer review procedures.8. Participates in other committee assignments as instructed.

Required Skills:
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Citizen of the United States. LICENSURE AND REGISTRATION: Physicians (Except Residents). Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia. EDUCATION. Degree of doctor of medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine. The degree must have been obtained from one of the schools approved by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs for the year in which the course of study was completed. Approved schools are: -Schools of medicine holding regular institutional membership in the Association of American Medical Colleges for the year in which the degree was granted.-Schools of osteopathic medicine approved by the American Osteopathic Association for the year in which the degree was granted.-Schools (including foreign schools) accepted by the licensing b! ody of a State, Territory, or Commonwealth (i.e., Puerto Rico), or in t! he District of Columbia as qualifying for full or unrestricted licensure.Veterans' Preference: When applying for Federal Jobs, eligible Veterans should claim preference on their application or résumé.
