ROLE SUMMARY
Manages multiple, parallel projects using formal project planning techniques and CRMC’s project management approved methodology and standard projec! t management templates. Responsible for appropriate project status updates and communications related to issues and barriers. Performs quantitative and qualitative analysis of healthcare and financial data to support program management with CRMG. The successful candidate will act as an internal and external consultant to the organization developing analytic methodologies and report formats. This position will assist in mentoring all fellow analysts, lead department projects related to reimbursement and coordinate the various needs of the practice and providers in a timely manner to ensure the provider is confident in the process.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Provides highly skilled technical and management advice and assistance to department management, project management teams and other personnel
2. Assembles or assists in assembling the appropriate team members as needed within the scope of the project. Identifies team priorities involving time, quality, cost! , and scope. Leads design and review sessions as needed
3.! Leads design sessions and review sessions with technical and business staffs, including all levels of management. Is accountable to finish projects on time, within budget and meeting the quality standards identified by the team and the Project Sponsor of the Team
4. Facilitates and troubleshoots the myriad of problems associated with the coordination, development and design of projects or complex systems
5. Incorporates quality improvement, patient satisfaction, physician satisfaction, employee satisfaction and financial initiatives into team goals
6. Assists in developing departmental plans, goals, objectives, policies and procedures
7. Maintains data base of Physician compensation reviews and reports metrics monthly
8. Maintains the review process for all physician compensation arrangements, including review of compensation checklists and supporting documentation in accordance with CRMG policy. Serves as team member for charge master development proce! ss
9. Maintains current knowledge on trends and developments in physician practice economics and provider compensation models to achieve/maintain alignment between practice revenue, quality, expenses and compensation
10. Assists in the formation of compensation model standards for employed physicians, Advanced Practice Professionals, medical directors, recruited physicians, independent contractors and locum tenens in collaboration with executive management of CRMG
11. Maintains CRMG standards for benchmarking compensation to ensure consistency in methodologies and to aid in the analysis of model effectiveness and the identification of best practices
12. Provides necessary data to external compensation consulting organizations for the purpose of developing comparative data used in the determination of physician compensation plans. Prepares various survey responses for compensation work RVU, revenue, etc. to external organizations for the development of market! data each year. Provides data to external organizations for the develo! pment of external opinion on reasonable compensation. Reviews market data reports and compiles market blended analysis for the determination of fair market based compensation and productivity

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES

  • Demonstrates a solid understanding of how the organization functions
  • Working knowledge of MS Project (or similar scheduling tool) Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to assess, evaluate, explain, teach, problem solve using critical thinking and perform calculations
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Expert knowledge and ability to develop and apply procedures in complex assignments
  • Professional knowledge and technical ability to analyze, design, test and implement systems and applications
  • Possesses thorough knowledge and ability to develop and implement policies and procedures
  • Demonstrates an independent work initiative, sound judgment and a! ttention to detail
  • Strong quantitative and analytic skills
  • Demonstrates the ability to work with confidential information
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Human Resources or related field
  • Experience with compensation methodologies and health care
  • Three to five years of health care experience
