The Regional Director of Operations for Nexus Surgical Partners is responsible for providing general facility oversight in the area of personnel management, compliance, marketing and facility operations of three pain management outpatient centers and/or ambulatory surgery centers in a specified region; Establishes and maintains physician relationships; Negotiates and implements payer contracts; Assists in the supervision and oversight of on-site practice administrators; Reports to Chief Operations Officer.
! ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Includes, but may not be limited t! o the following:

Conducts, supervises, and directs the management of the day-to-day operations of Pain Management Practices and Business Office Operations.
*
Evaluates monthly financial reports.
*
Benchmarks revenue by patient.
*
Communicates and collaborates with the Account Manager assigned by the Billing Company.
*
Oversees the financial dashboard and collection account process.
*
Monitors revenue cycle by monitoring and evaluating Aged Accounts Receivables.
*
Evaluates Accounts Payables by payers.
*
Reviews and monitors case costing by procedure, physician and payer mix.
*
Oversees and/or trains front office staff in the following areas: 1). Out-of-Network process 2). Insurance Verification/Pre-certification process 3). Pre-collect calculations/Procedures 4). Scheduling Process and other business processes.
*
Assists in the interviewing/hiring process for all business office staff with respect to the facility and any corporate support staff.
*
Works with the Director of Clinical Operations for initial accreditation and re-accreditation preparation and compliance.
*
Works Closely with Administrators in overseeing all personnel issues within the facility.
*
Collaborates closely with corporate counterparts as follows:
*
Work with Director of Business Operations and COO on business operations.
*
Work with Director of Clinical Operations on regulatory, compliance and risk management.
*
Work with VP of Human Resources on recruitment, hiring, disciplinary action, and all HR-related functions.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
*
Dotted line supervisory responsibility. Reports to the Chief Operations Officer.

Minimum Requirements:
*
B.S. in health-related field; MBA and CASC certification preferred.
*
Extensive insurance experience ( >5 years.), including ASC and out-of-network billing experience.
*
Previous oversight of ASC and physician practice facilities required.
*
Experience in all facility functions that relate to patient care, admitting and registration process.
*
Experience in fiscal management, cost controls, budgeting, coordinating public relations, building physician relations and development of policy and procedures.
*
Work closely with administrative and medical staff in marketing and patient care service functions.
*
Strengths in billing, cash management, collections, contract maintenance, inventory management and A/P.
*
Computer experience required in MS Windows, Excel and W! ord.
*
Prior experience in Pain Management a plus.
