Overview:
The Eligibility Associate position is a full-time position that is responsible for providing professional customer service to participants, and administrative clerical support to the Management Team. Under minimum supervision, the Eligibility Associate will execute assigned duties for the position. This position currently reports to the Benefits Manager. Eligibility
Associate is a full-time, non-exempt position, with a work schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
Required Skills:
- Propriety software database research
- Opening mail
- Data entry and other administrative assistance duties as needed
- Maintain and update all Medical and Dental plan benefits (by plan & state) in reparation for rolling enrollment
- Process address changes and creation of forms
- Vacation and Pension Dept. Assistance
- Working knowledge in Microsoft applications.
- Knowledge of “8x8” telephone system is preferred but not mandatory
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Strong telephone etiquette and “people skills”
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including written communications
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is required
- Proficiency with 10-key by touch
- Excellent organizational skills
- High School diploma or equivalent with 5+yrs related experience is preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.31 - $31.12 per hour
