We are willing to pay a higher bill rate, if necessary to obtain higher quality. Do not submit candidates who have EVER been terminated from a previous contract. Do not submit MLT candidates. Candidates MUST have at least 2 travel assignments on their resume and it is perferred that you have current references from the most recent assignments.

Techs don't draw blood as we have our own phlebotomists that work night shift.? Blood Bank Experience required.? Would prefer someone who has worked with the Haemonetics / Wyndgate Blood Bank Information System (also known as McK! esson Horizon Blood Bank or HBB)? We are a Level 2 Trauma Cent! er and do all sorts of surgery so it not unusual to prepare and issue blood during the night.
? Chemistry Experience?most of our techs are generalists and work in all areas of the lab. We would prefer to train a temp in only a couple areas of the lab. Chemistry analyzers are Beckman DXC, DXI 800 and 600 and Siemens Centaur.?
We generally work two to three techs on our night shift (three on our busy nights). Along with two phlebotomists.? Our LIS is Epic Beaker. It is a pretty new system so I wouldn't expect to find a tech with prior experience on this system and I don't think it would be hard for a tech to learn?
We would like someone with several years of experience so they know their way around a lab and have good critical thinking skills.
