Altitude Veterinary Hospital is looking for a full time Veterinary Assistantto join our team! As the only AAHA accredited practice in the area, we are seeking individuals who share our passion for excellent care and customer service!
< b>About Altitude Veterinary Hospital: Altitude Veterinary Hospital provides a high level of care for small pets. At Altitude we understand that our pets are more than just pets, they are family. In addition to being AAHA accredited, we provide a wide range of services including specialty services such as acupuncture and TPLO. Our team consists of 3 licensed doctors, 6 assistants, and 3 technicians. Along with these services we also offer boarding and grooming services. Some of the responsibilities of a Veterinary Assistant are:
- Daily maintenance of exam rooms including cleaning, stocking and organizing
- Assist veterinary technicians in admitting routine dental/medical/surgical procedures
- Assist veterinary technicians in setting up treatment area for procedures, dentistry, and surgery
- Provide assistance in greeting clients and compiling patient chart history, updating client information and reminders in to our computer system prior to and during patient office visit
- Other responsibilities as assigned
The assistant will work under our Lead Veterinary Assistant. Although experience is preferred, it is not required for this position. Our ideal candidate for this position will have the following traits:

We offer a competitive wage and benefit package. Hours and work days are to be determined, but will eventually involve some weekend and after hours.
