Job Summary

Responsibilities and Duties
A few duties of the registered nurse include: *
- Interacts with patients in a calm, caring, and sensitive manner and contributes to the execution of high quality patient care.
- Identifies patient concerns and implements calming interventions to improve the patient’s experience.
- Performs assigned tasks in admission, recovery, cleaning, procedure nursing, and discharge
- Correctly performs enzymatic cleaning and high level disinfection of scopes and equipment
- Assists the physician during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to promote and maintain optimal patient outcomes by team collaboration.
- Provides accurate and detailed documentation to ensure continuity in the provision and coordination of patient care.
- Performs patient phone calls with respect and professionalism in a timely manner
- D emonstrates competency in Moderate Sedation and is able to respond appropriately to emergent situations by recognizing changes in patient’s health status.
Qualifications and Skills
Graduate of accredited School of Nursing, Current RN License with the State of Wyoming, BLS, ACLS (preferable for hire, but will allow within 1st month of hire), one year of experience in acute care or GI specialty (preferred), can follow written and verbal instructions, professionalism, effective communication, knowledge of the nursing process, and confidentiality of all data, including patient, employees and operations data.
