The chosen applicant will have 1 year of scrubbing and circulating experience at minimum in various surgical procedures and 2 years in an acute setting overall. Specialties in areas like cardiovascular, orthopedics, plastics, ENT, and same day surgery are recommended and requested.
Everyday tasks include the evaluation of OR patients, care plan design, implementation, and documentation of all nursing procedures within the operating room suite. Required certifications include an associate's degree, state certified registered nurse license, ACLS and BLS.
