Vestas Northern and Central Europe is a sales business unit covering OFFSHORE, NORTH-WEST (Scandinavia, UK, Ireland) CENTRAL (Germany and Benelux) and EAST(Poland and Baltics countries, Austria, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Croatia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Ukraine, Georgia and Kazakhstan). Our responsibilities include Sales, Projects, Installation, and Service of wind farms in these regions.
Special Task Onshore EAST is responsible for planning and coordination of main components and blades activities in EAST region.
Responsibilities
- Technically plan main component (e.g. gear box) exchange/repair- work orders - define and search out all required materials, tools, services and resources
- Work order context clearly specified, enriched with relevant information and ready to be dispatched to crews
- Take customer specific clauses into consideration when planning
- Technical Support involved for complex questions / requests
- Task list improvement opportunities identified and aligned with Technical Support
- Replacement execution performance monitored, and concepts/tools updated and improved
- Align and define work content and schedules with external partners and subcontractors
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure proper field execution
- Ensure materials and create purchase requests (MRP, ADVS)
- Ordering tools, parts necessary for job execution, as well as additional equipment (cranes,Tirak, cherry picker etc.)
- Schedule service appointments for main components turbine visits
- Prepare and facilitate the creation of technical reports or root cause investigates
- Blade reports and blade Works overview, main components work scheduling and reports
- Quality verification based on inputs provided by Field Technician
- Identify CIM opportunities and link work order (if applicable)
- Regular information exchange with sub-regions and key stakeholders to continuously improve the replacement process
- Regular reporting to management on replacement execution
- Identify major drivers of replacement delays and implement solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelors degreed highly preferred in relevant field (ie. Industrial Engineering)
- 2+ years related experience (ie. Operations Management or Technical Planning)
- Good experience in a technical service environment with focus on planning & execution
- Proficient with IT systems and familiar with database and planning tools
- System user of MS Office, SAP and Salesforce
- Ability to speak English and Local -language to deal with Subcontractors (if relevant)

- Good understanding of new technology and an aptitude for analyzing technical documentation
- Good understanging of technical documentations and drawings
- Proven ability to evaluate the upcoming trends and workload
- Affinity to work with assumptions and navigate in technical related systems
- Structured and detailed working approach
- Self-organized and good time management
- Ability to handle database and planning systems
- You are a great communicator, both in speaking and writing, and are confident in sharing your opinions
- Forward-thinking in identifying and addressing issues with good problem-solving skills and a "can-do" attitude

Location: we consider all Vestas locations in Austria for the right candidate.
In this position you will be travelling up to 25% of your work time.
